Benjamin Shibe - 1901–1921

Benjamin Shibe was the owner of the Athletics when it was referred to as the Philadelphia Athletics as part of the American League. 

Connie Mack - 1901–1954

Connie Mack was the owner of the Philadelphia Athletics from 1901–1954. He was also a baseball player and manager.


Earle Mack & Roy Mack - 1950–1954

Earle Mack and Roy Mack led the team as part owners of the franchise. 

Arnold Johnson - 1954–1960

Arnold Johnson purchased the Philadelphia Athletics baseball club and moved it to Kansas City, Missouri in 1954.


Charles O. Finley - 1960–1980

Charles O. Finley owned the Oakland Athletics while it was located in Kansas City, before moving it to Oakland in 1968. 

Walter A. Haas, Jr. - 1980–1995

Walter A. Haas, Jr. was the principal owner of the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball from 1981 to 1995. He acquired the team from Charles O. Finley in August 1980.


Stephen Schott & Ken Hofmann - 1995–2005
