Amateur Ice Hockey 

Anthony Mantha played in the 2007 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Collège-Français Rive-Sud minor. He was later drafted 76th overall in the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft by the Val-d'Or Foreurs.


Anthony Mantha made his debut for the team in the 2010–11 season in the QMJHL debut. But he spent most of his time with the College Charles-Lemoyne Riverains in Quebec's midget AAA league.


However, he returned to the Val-d'Or roster for the 2011–12 season and played in 63 games in the QMJHL with 22 goals and 29 assists. In his second full season (2012–13), he was Val-d'Or's second leading scorer and was named to the QMJHL Second All-Star Team.


Anthony Mantha played 57 games for Val-d'Or in the 2013/14 season and led the QMJHL in scoring with 57 goals and 63 assists. He was awarded the Jean Béliveau Trophy as the top scorer in the QMJHL, the Michel Brière Memorial Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in the QMJHL, and the CHL Player of the Year.

Detroit Red Wings - National Hockey League (NHL)

Anthony Mantha signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings on October 12, 2013, and was part of the team Grand Rapids Griffins, the AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings, for the 2014–15 season. 


Mantha made his professional debut against the Texas Stars on November 14, 2014. He recorded his first career hat-trick in a game against the Milwaukee Admirals on February 17, 2016, and was later recalled by the Detroit Red Wings to the NHL on March 14, 2016.


He made his NHL debut against the Philadelphia Flyers. However, he returned to the Grand Rapids Griffins. On November 11, 2016, he was recalled again by the Detroit Red Wings and recorded his first career hat-trick in the game against the Boston Bruins on March 31, 2019.
