Baltimore Ravens ownership history 

Art Modell (1996–2004)

Arthur Bertram Modell was the first and original owner of the Baltimore Ravens. The American entrepreneur and businessman owned the Cleveland Browns franchise for 35 years and established the Baltimore Ravens franchise, which he owned for eight years.


It began when he promoted the idea of the NFL Cleveland by playing an active role in the formation and establishment of the team.


Steve Bisciotti (2004–present)

Steve Bisciotti purchased an initial share of 49% of the Ravens. On March 27, 2000, following the approval by the NFL board. In the deal, he had an option to purchase the remaining 51% for $325 million. In 2004, on April 9, 2004, he approved his purchase of the majority stake in the club.
