The Swiss women's national football team has announced the squad for the upcoming UEFA Women's Championship that will be held in the country. The team is one of my favourites ahead of the tournament.

Elvira Herzog (RB Leipzig), Nadine Böhi (St Gallen) and Livia Peng (Werder Bremen).

Who are the players to watch at the tournament?

Ahead of the European Women's Football Championship, Switzerland has some of the best players heading into the tournament.


1. Lia Wälti (Arsenal FC)  

Lia Wälti is arguably one of the biggest names in the team's roster. She is a world-class midfielder known for her leadership qualities as well as her passing accuracy and composure on the pitch.

The Swiss woman's midfield will be dependent on her services.


2. Ana-Maria Crnogorčević (Seattle Reign) 

The next name on the list is Ana-Maria Crnogorčević, who plays for the National Women's Soccer League Seattle Reign in the United States. She is the most experienced forward on the team.


Ana-Maria is shown to be a reliable option, especially for her unique capabilities, like handling multiple attacking positions. She is a versatile player and is known for her ability to score important goals.


3. Noelle Maritz (Aston Villa)
