Honolulu County 

Honolulu County (City of Honolulu) is the most populous county in the state of Hawaii. It covers the entire island of Oahu, including other smaller outlying islands, including the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, with the exception of Midway Atoll. 

Honolulu is the capital of the Hawaiian state and is known to be a cultural and economic hub.


Geographical Location

The county is located in the *central Pacific Ocean. It is bordered by Maui County (southeast) and Kauai County (northwest). It consists of mountain ranges and coastal plains.

Kalawao County

Kalawao County is the smallest county in Hawaii. It is located on the Kalaupapa Peninsula and is home to the Hawaii Department of Health.


Geographical Location

Kalawao County is separated from the rest of the islands.

Total Area: 53 sq mi (140 km²)

Land Area: 12 sq mi (30 km²)

Water Area: 41 sq mi (110 km²)

Kauai County

Kauai County (County of Kauai) includes Kauai, Niʻihau, Lehua, and Kaʻula. It is often called "Garden Isle" as a result of its cliffs, abundant rainfall and lush landscape.


Geographical Location

It is located in the northwestern part of the Hawaiian archipelago and is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and bordered by *Honolulu County to the southeast.

Maui County

Maui County is made up of four main islands, such as Maui, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, and Kahoʻolawe. It is the second-largest county in the state of Hawaii by land area.

Maui County is in the central Pacific Ocean and is situated northwest of the Big Island and southeast of Oahu.
